Sweaty hands, pulse rate increasing, and a little bead of sweat rolls down the side of my head. I try to take a deep breath, but it doesn’t do anything to me. I look into her eyes and see her pupils dilating and it puts a really knotted feeling in the pit of my stomach. I wince a bit as I gulp something the size of a boulder and as I bring up my hand closer to her, my heart rate rises even more, it feels like my heart about to explode from this tension. She puts her hand up to mine and we make the most memorable exchange one could ever ask for. An overwhelming happiness rushes through my body, all of that for this moment. It finally happened.
